Customer Brief
The homeowners wanted to transform their dated kitchen into a modern, highly functional space with particular attention to storage, organisation and everyday convenience. Their vision included sleek handleless cabinetry, elegant stone-look worktops, integrated appliances and a spacious central island with waterfall edges and breakfast bar seating.
A key priority was the inclusion of specialised internal fittings, premium German drawer systems and a wide range of practical cupboard accessories to maximise storage and accessibility. The design also needed to accommodate a custom-built washing area where they could comfortably bathe their beloved pets.
Warm wood accents, illuminated display cupboards and subtle LED lighting would complete a kitchen carefully tailored to her lifestyle and individual needs.
Reasons for a new modern kitchen
The original kitchen featured dark timber-look cupboards, traditional handles, ageing worktops and an island that offered limited functionality. Its dated finishes and layout no longer suited the homeowners’ needs or preferred style.
A complete renovation would introduce better storage, improved preparation areas, integrated appliances and a more practical breakfast bar. Lighter finishes, streamlined cabinetry and carefully positioned lighting would create a brighter, more spacious and inviting environment.
Expectations
The homeowners expected Weizter to deliver a thoughtfully designed kitchen combining modern styling, quality workmanship and everyday functionality.
Key requirements included precisely fitted handleless cabinetry, durable worktops, integrated cooking appliances and a spacious waterfall island with seating. Warm LED lighting, illuminated display cupboards and coordinated wood-look finishes would complete a kitchen designed for comfortable family living and entertaining.
